Bryan D. McElvaine and Yasha K. Shahidi obtained summary judgment in a premises liability case filed in the Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas, Philadelphia County. The Plaintiff alleged that she sustained injuries when she fell from a golf cart as she was leaving a fundraising event hosted by the American Cancer Society. CC&O obtained a successful dismissal of the case against ACS since it did not own or control the subject premises and did not control the operations of the third-party valet service on site.
