Kathleen Guilfoyle and Margaret Pastuszak obtained a dismissal on behalf of a major manufacturer and retailer of computer equipment in a discrimination claim filed with the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination (MCAD).  The complainant, a customer at a local retail store of the defendant, alleged that she was denied access to the store based on her race and in violation of the public accommodation statute.  The MCAD granted defendant’s motion to dismiss as she had failed to put forth any evidence that she was denied access to the store or otherwise discriminated against by any employee of the defendant.
