John Yokow concentrates his practice on civil litigation matters including: personal injury/negligence defense, product liability, premises liability, insurance coverage, bad faith claims and complex commercial/business disputes (including contract disputes and Wage Act claims). John is experienced in all areas of civil litigation including drafting demand letters, researching, drafting and arguing dispositive and evidentiary motions, preparation and review of written discovery requests and responses, taking and defending depositions and trial advocacy.

Prior to joining Campbell Conroy & O’Neil, John worked for a civil litigation law firm prosecuting affirmative recovery actions on behalf of institutional clients, investigating insurance coverage and fraud and defending suits involving 1st and 3rd party actions against insurers and their insureds (including complex G.L. c 93A claims, general negligence and breach of contract actions). John has also previously worked as a member of a regional automobile insurer’s staff counsel office and gained substantial trial experience as an Assistant District Attorney with the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office. As an Assistant District Attorney, John tried more than 20 cases to verdict and argued numerous evidentiary and non-evidentiary motions before the Middlesex County District and Juvenile Courts.

John earned his Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School in 2015 and Bachelor of Arts from Stonehill College in 2011. While at Stonehill, John was a four-year member of the college’s varsity ice hockey team. Away from the office, John is an avid ice hockey fan and enjoys golfing and attending live music performances.
