Christopher D. Fletcher

BIOGRAPHY

Christopher Fletcher focuses his practice on representing individuals and companies in high-exposure civil litigation matters, including defense against class actions, product liability, premises liability, medical device, medical malpractice, legal malpractice, trucking and automobile accidents, and negligence cases. Chris is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the United State District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. He is a 2023 graduate of the International Association of Defense Counsel Trial Academy at Stanford Law School in Palo Alto, California.

Recently, Chris has concentrated on defending an environmental-services firm in hundreds of individual actions and a lawsuit by the Attorney General in Michigan related to the Flint Water Crisis. Chris oversaw the development of expert opinions, discovery and depositions, and trial testimony for defense causation and damages experts. Chris participated in nearly every aspect of the defense, including developing litigation strategies, discovery and discovery disputes, depositions of individual plaintiffs and witnesses, deposition of plaintiffs’ experts, and developing trial direct/cross examination strategies for fact and expert witnesses.

Prior to joining the firm, Chris practiced litigation in the Boston area with a national defense firm. He spent the first few years of his career working on the plaintiff’s side at a boutique civil litigation firm, where he routinely evaluated and settled personal injury and general liability cases. Chris graduated from Suffolk University Law School with a concentration in civil litigation in 2014. During his time at Suffolk University Law School, he clerked at a well-known plaintiff’s medical malpractice firm in Boston, MA.
